Why FIVE?

5 REASONS TO WORK WITH FIVE DESIGN

1. Decades of Real-World Experience

With more than 30 years of combined experience in architecture and residential design, we bring knowledge gained from working with homeowners, homebuilders, developers, general contractors, and other industry professionals. We understand both the creative and practical sides of bringing a home from an idea to reality.

2. Architecture + Residential Design Under One Roof

Cole brings an architectural and project management perspective, while Jennifer brings extensive residential design and homebuilding experience. Together, we consider how a home looks, how it functions, how it feels to live in, and how it comes together in the field.

3. Custom Means Custom

We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all design. Whether we’re working directly with a homeowner or partnering with a builder, every project starts by understanding the vision, priorities, and goals. The result is a home thoughtfully designed for you and effectively designed for your construction team.

4. Collaboration From Design to Construction

Great homes are the result of great collaboration. We value clear communication and strong relationships with homeowners, builders, contractors, and other project partners. Our experience on both the design and building sides helps us anticipate challenges, find practical solutions, and keep the design moving forward.

5. You Work Directly With Us

Five Design is personally owned and operated by us. We’re invested in every project, every relationship, and the community we call home. Whether you’re a homeowner designing your dream home or a builder looking for a trusted design partner, you’re working directly with the people behind Five Design.
